Application Process 2008/2009
Registration Information:
- A non-refundable Orientation/Assessment fee must be paid at the
time of the interview/child assessment.
- Following the interview and child assessment, the class teacher
will notify parents within one week of the faculty's decision.
- The Enrolment Coordinator will arrange for the parents to finalize
the registration process with completion of all registration forms,
student file documents (proof of citizenship, documents from past
schools, etc.), financial agreements and payment of tuition, school
fees and registration fees.
- When all forms and financial arrangements are completed, the teacher
will welcome the child into the class.
Sign-up Bonus
- Existing parents who introduce new students to the school will automatically qualify for a one-time 20% tuition credit for the 2008/2009 school year.
General Information
- All fees are based on a yearly agreement, divided into 10 months
for those families who choose to pay with postdated cheques (August
1st to May 1st). No discounts or reductions will be given for school
holidays, Pro-D days or extended absenteeism throughout the school
year.
- Kelowna Waldorf School does not charge GST or PST.
- There is a 2.5% discount of annual tuitions PAID IN FULL prior to
August 1st in the case of re-enrolment or, prior to September 1st
for new students.
- Fees are pro-rated for children enrolled part way through the school
year.
- As a requirement of the Ministry of Education, all families must
re-register each year.
- Fees are reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees and are subject
to change in the following school year. School Fees are non-refundable.
Additional fees may arise through the school year for special field
trips, swimming, skiing, skating, etc.
- International Students: Tuition fees are not subsidized by the province.
Please contact the office regarding the current fee schedule for International
(non-Canadian) students.
